Memorial Bench Program

Although some locations are currently sold out, more benches will become available as the program expands. To be waitlisted for future releases, please contact Allanna Yates at a.yates@lsrca.on.ca

Sponsor a Bench, Pick a Park, Mark a Memory

Our Memorial Bench Program provides you with a lasting tribute to a friend or loved one every day of the year. The benches are installed in conservation areas along the same trails and natural settings that gave your friends and loved ones such joy and peace. Only a limited number of memorial benches are available to sponsor.

All benches are made of durable materials fabricated by a Canadian-based company for you, friends and family to enjoy year after year. Installed in pre-determined locations, each bench features a personalized commemorative plaque with the name of the person to be honoured and can include a heartwarming message.

By sponsoring a memorial bench, your gift will provide a place to rest for young and old, in every season to enjoy the natural spaces at many of the conservation areas that are maintained by the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority.

Your gift becomes a community legacy for years to come.

You can select a memorial bench at one of the following locations:

Scanlon Creekside 2
