The Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation is excited to announce that we will be working with the community to raise the funds needed to build a new Nature Centre at the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area in Bradford.

Since the 1980’s, Scanlon Creek has been the anchor of the region’s outdoor environmental education.

After decades of use, it’s painfully clear that the three re-purposed portables are no longer adequate. We’ve outgrown it and sadly the current facility is at the end of its life cycle.

A new facility will allow us to become the premier destination for experiencing and learning about nature. Built using sustainable design, it will have three multi-use rooms that will attract kids, students, seniors and community members of all ages each year.

By joining the Connect Campaign you can help us build a new environmental hub where the entire community – young and old – will have the opportunity to reconnect with nature once again.
