Roughing it for a Reason

Will they camp in cold or in comfort… that’s up to you!

Help us support the Connect Campaign to build a new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area by sponsoring one of our campers.

A group of 17 dedicated Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority employees are roughing it in the wilderness (Scanlon Creek Conservation Area) to raise funds to build a new Nature Centre.  They want to ensure our kids have access to the best Outdoor Education experiences possible! Right now, kids from all over Simcoe County and York Region come to the Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek to get inspired by and learn about nature. Comprised of 3 re-purposed portables, the building is at end of life. If we don’t re-build it, Outdoor Education will end at Scanlon!

Find out their Reasons for Roughing it! Each camper has their own story to tell.
