A Great Start for a Healthier Lake Simcoe Watershed!

The East Holland River is the most polluted and populated river in the Lake Simcoe Watershed. It is a major source of pollutants (specifically phosphorus) entering the lake via Cook’s Bay. The LSCF, along with the Conservation Authority wanted to do something about it!

In 2007, in partnership with LSRCA, LSCF launched the East Holland  River Project. Along with all our partners almost 200 stewardship projects were completed with a total investment of over $5 Million. Thanks to all donors  who supported this critical work. Please see the full report, attached below. With your continued support, The Creeks Project will be even more successful!
