Debbi Conzelmann, President
CEO, King Cole Ducks

Debbi has been in Agribusiness since 1982. She was General Manager of Queensville Farm Supply, a feed manufacturer and supplier, for over 20 years prior to joining King Cole Ducks as CEO in 2009. King Cole Ducks is Canada’s largest duck producer and is unique because of its’ vertical integration and sustainability model. Debbi has served on the LSCF Board of Directors since 2015 and is currently President.

Debby Beatty
Lake Simcoe Philanthropist

Debby is a fifth generation cottager who is passionate about the health of Lake Simcoe. Her other past volunteer endeavors are board member of the Lake Simcoe Coalition, Toronto Community Foundation and the Ontario Trillium Foundation . She is presently Chair of the Helen McCrea Peacock Foundation. In 2013, Debby was awarded the Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition for her lifelong dedication to environmental projects to protect Lake Simcoe and its watershed. Debby has served on the LSCF Board of Directors since 2002 as Director, Vice President and President.

Geoff Dawe
Mayor of Aurora

Geoff has been the Mayor of Aurora since 2010. From 1986 to 2010, he was Founder and President of Quality Integrators Corporation, a leading supplier of manufacturing management systems to the North American food processing industry. He is a member of the York Regional Council and the Board of Directors for Southlake Regional Health Centre. Geoff is the Chair of the LSRCA Board of Directors and has served on the LSCF Board of Directors since 2011.

John Dale
Sales and Marketing Consultant

John, a graduate of the University of Toronto, is a creative business professional with over 30 years’ experience in sales, corporate strategy and business development. He retired from Mackenzie Financial Services as Executive Vice President in 2010 and continues to consult for financial services and sales organizations. John has a family cottage on Lake Simcoe and is passionate about the Foundation's vision and the LSRCA’s work to preserve the watershed. He has served on Board since 2016.

Lee Ann Waterman
Editor-in-Chief, Metroland Media, York Region

Lee Ann has almost 20 years of experience in journalism. She has worked at Metroland Media since 2001, and is currently Editor-in-Chief at Metroland Media, York Region, which publishes 11 community newspapers and Lee Ann has a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University. Lee Ann is an avid outdoorsperson who is keen to protect the natural environment and has served on the LSCF Board of Directors since 2016.

Marvin Geist
Lawyer, Marvin Geist Barrister and Solicitor

Marvin has been practicing law since 1975. With offices in the city of Vaughan and the town of Innisfil. his expertise is in corporate/commercial and real estate law. Marvin lives on Lake Simcoe, and has enjoyed it immensely since boyhood. He has been President of the largest ratepayers group on Lake Simcoe and former Director on the Federation of Ontario Cottagers Association. Marvin has served on the LSCF Board of Directors since 2017.

Ron Craig, Secretary Treasurer
CEO, Turf Care Products Canada

Ron is the Owner and CEO of Turf Care Products, a turf equipment and irrigation supply company based in Newmarket. Ron has a B.Sc in Horticulture from the University of Guelph. Ron has served on the LSCF Board of Directors since 2013.

Steve Schaefer, Vice President
Principal, SCS Consulting Group

Steve is a founding partner of SCS Consulting Group. He is responsible for the management and technical execution of engineering projects from the initial planning stages through to construction. Steve is involved in numerous projects throughout the Lake Simcoe watershed which implement state of the art stormwater control measures to maintain and enhance the quality of the lake. Steve has served on the LSCF Board of Directors since 2013 as a Director and Vice President.

Stéphane (Steve) Chénier
Senior Manager, Scotiabank

Steve has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry helping clients achieve their financial and banking needs and is currently Senior Manager, Payment and Cash Management with Scotiabank in Barrie. Steve has a B.A. from Carlton University. He is passionate about our natural world and possesses strong values as it pertains to the conservation and betterment of our natural habitat. Steve feels honoured to have served on the Foundation Board since 2014.
